If you've never eaten chameleon before, you're in for a big surprise at Chameleon Kafe. The small, long-tongued, bug-eyed reptiles are exquisitely roasted, barbecued or steamed and served in a variety of mouth-watering dishes. Don't leave without trying their incredible soup made exclusively from chameleon eyes enhanced by a variety of local spices. As offputting as it may sound at first, it is in fact one of the most delicious culinary experiences I've ever had in Penang. For the unadventurous, the restaurant also serves a small number of dishes not containing chameleon. Highly recommended.
